VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
November 10, 1896
Common Council met at Chas. S. Wheaton’s office at 2:30 o’clock P.M.
Present: Chas S. Wheaton, President; Fred Hildreth; Andrew Davis, Recorder.
The following bill was presented and on motion allowed and an order drawn for the amount:
William Iliff, street work and cash paid to men, $131.62
On motion it was voted to levy a tax of ($350) three hundred fifty dollars in the Village of Elk River
for the year 1896.
No further business appearing, on motion meeting adjourned.
