VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
October 6, 1897
The Village Council met at Recorder’s Office on Wednesday, October 6, 1897.
Present: H.C. Hastings, President; L. Pollard; W.F. Chadbourne.
Meeting called to order by President at 7:30 p.m.
The following bill was presented and on motion allowed:
Perry Clute, one day unloading tiling from car, order 537, $1.50
This being the date for receiving bids for putting in tubing and it being declared in order by
President, the following bids were opened in presence of bidders:
Perry Clute, $124.75
S.S. Trask, $118.00
No action taken in regard to proposals, meeting adjourned to Saturday evening, October 9, 1897.
