VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
November 9, 1897
The Village Council met at Recorder’s Office on Tuesday, November 9, 1897.
Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; F.P. Brown; W.F. Chadbourne, Rec.
Meeting called to order by Pres. at 8 o’clock P.M.
The salary of Village Marshal for the month of Oct. and to Nov. 10 being due, on motion bill for
same was allowed, amt. $50.00 paid in order 544. This bill includes services as lamplighter to date.
No further business, adjourned.
