VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
September 25, 1897
Village Council met at the Recorder’s Office on Saturday, September 25, 1897.
Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; F.P. Brown; L. Pollard; W.F. Chadbourne.
On motion the following bills were allowed and orders drawn for their amounts:
Agents G.N. Ry for Freight, $24.40, order 533
W.F. Chadbourne, $93.89, order 534 – 400 for 15” tubing
C.W. Hayden, $2.35, order 535
W.F. Chadbourne, $25.00, order 536 – salary to date
Rec. was instructed to publish notice to contractors for putting in tubing from G.N. right of way to
river. Also to make specification for same.
No further business, adjourned.
