VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
September 21, 1897
Village Council met at the Recorder’s Office on Tuesday, September 21, 1897.
Present: H.C. Hastings, President; L. Pollard; W.F. Chadbourne.
Meeting called to order by the President at 8 o’clock P.M.
On motion it was voted to levee a tax of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) on the valuation of 1897
and the Recorder instructed to notify Auditor of the same.
No further business appearing, adjourned.
