VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 12, 1898
Village Council met at courthouse at 8 o’clock.
Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; F.P. Brown, C.T. Nickerson, Trustees; C.M. Babcock, Rec.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
C.W. Hayden, street lighting, $10.00
F.P. Brown, cash paid out for taking care of a man and woman X, $2.50
On motion Recorder was instructed to draw an order for street lighting for the amount of $10.00 on
the first of every month.
No further business appearing, adjourned.
