VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
May 4, 1898
Village Council met at courthouse at 8 o’clock.
Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; F.P. Brown, H.D. Mills and C.T. Nickerson, Trustees; Chas. M.
Babcock, Recorder.
On motion W.F. Chadbourne was instructed to stake out and make a chart of grading street in front
of starch factory and on Main Street back of Dr. Whittenour’s.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
Mr. Lute Davis, repairing sidewalks, $4.87
No further business, adjourned.
