VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 15, 1898
Village Council met at courthouse at 8:15 P.M.
Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; F.P. Brown, C.T. Nickerson and H.D. Mills, Trustees;
Chas. M. Babcock, Rec.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
C.W. Hayden; street work, 1 day; $1.50
Gene Holt, street work, ½ day; $.75
On motion the Council voted to grade Main Street to grade between Oak and Park streets according
to established grade of June 1891.
Motion was carried that we pass an ordinance changing grade on Oak Street.
On motion adjourned to meet August 20, 1898.
