Village Council met at courthouse July 21, 1898.
Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; F.P. Brown, Chet Nickerson and H.D. Mills, Trustees;

The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
Wm. Iliff, work on ferry road, $5.25
W.L. Babcock & Sons, nails, oils, etc., $13.67
Elk River Milling Co., order on W.N. Higgins, $114.15
W.N. Higgins, balance due on grading/second contract, $235.85
No further business, adjourned.
