VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 20, 1898
Village Council met at courthouse July 20, 1898, at 8 o’clock.
Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; F.P. Brown, C.T. Nickerson and H.D. Mills, Trustees;
Chas. M. Babcock, Rec.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
Joe Nidd, order drawn to Recorder, work on ferry, $1.75
Perry Clute, wall (unclear) starch factory, $2.25
Allen Foster, work on sewer, $3.00
A.N. Dare, contract ferry tickets, etc., $2.75
W.N. Higgins, balance due on grading street, $159.50, dating order back July 11, 1898
No further business, adjourned to meet July 21, 1898, at 7:30 o’clock.
