DISCUSSION:
• Delivered six new water meters.
• Sealed the water meter, and took curb stop ties from six water services.
• Completed 25 BACTI/Total Chlorine Residual Samples
o All confirmed negative for Coliform Bacteria.
o Bacteriological/Disinfectant Residual Monthly Report submitted to the MDH
• Completed 20 routine fluoride samples
o All samples met MDH standards.
o Submitted MDH Fluoride Report
• Submitted MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) for the Diesel Generation Plant.
• Submitted MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) for the Water Treatment Plants.
• The asbestos has been removed from 1437 Main Street. The ERFD and ERPD will be
conducting training in the house until it is burned by the ERFD on June 24. We are
seeking quotes for the removal of the leftover debris after the house has been burned.
• We will be completing our annual hydrant flushing the week of May 8-12.
• The WTP #7 Expansion is nearing completion. There are only a few punch list items that
need to be completed. The final completion date is anticipated to be June 15, 2017.
• The new motor at Well #4 has been installed. All of the wells have been put back in to
service.
• We met with Kodet Architectural on May 3 concerning the field services expansion. I
will supply an update at the commission meeting.
• I will be running for Chair of the Minnesota Section of the American Water Works
Association (AWWA). I will find out if I have been chosen at the annual conference in
September.
• The city transferred the Prestigious Woodland Hills watermain assets to ERMU for the
amount of$55,882 last month.
