VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
March 25, 1899
Regular meeting of Village Council at 8:30 P.M.
Present: H.C. Hastings, President; H.D. Mills, Trustee; Chas. M. Babcock, Rec.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
Brown Tracy & Co., order drawn to Recorder, $3.30
H.D. Mills, cash paid for cleaning sidewalks, $14.25
On motion it was voted to appropriate a fund of $25.00 as a special fund to be used as paying
incidental expenses, and Recorder authorized to draw orders against same.
Bill as Perry Clute, work on streets, $1.50,
\[and\] bill of Eug. Holt, work on streets, $1.50,
\[were\] allowed.
On motion it was voted that the Village Council accept the terms of the Town Board to rent an
office over Big Store at $35.00 for \[the\] year, and the Village Council pay one half, and Recorder was
instructed to notify Store of same.
No further business, adjourned.
