Babcock’s store, one at entrance to Village hall and rooms, one at post office, one at entrance

VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
December 29, 1899
Village Council met at Recorder’s office at 8:30.
Present: H.C. Hastings, Pres.; H.D. Mills, Dr. Scoboria; Chas. M. Babcock, Village Recorder.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
Walter S. Booth & Sons, blanks, $2.25
E.T. Barnum, jail cage, $99.12
J.P. Paull, work on jail cage, $1.50
Frank Paull, work on jail cage, $1.25
W.B. Eaton, health officer, $2.00
H.B. Babcock, work on streets, $10.85
Chas. M. Babcock, cash paid out of spec. fund, $12.17
On motion Dr. Scoboria was appointed Judge of Election.
