VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 25, 1900
Village Council met in the Recorder’s office at 8:30.
Present: H.C. Hastings, President; J.S. Guerney, J.H. Romdeune, Chas M. Babcock; R.E.
Dare, Village Recorder.
Chas. Babcock read the proceedings of Election Day and turned over three bills. A communication
from N.K. Whitteman declaring to act as President of Village Council was read.
As all the members of the Council were not present, J.H. Romdeune made a motion that we adjourn
until Tuesday evening, Jan. 30, 1900, at 8:30 P.m. The motion was carried.
