VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 14, 1901
Village Council met at 3 P.M.
Present: \[attendees not formally listed in minutes\]
The bond of J.H. Romdeune as Recorder of Village approved and allowed.
Bills of J.S. Guerney and of W.F. Chadbourne for $2.00 each as Judges of Election were approved
and allowed.
On motion of Henry Castle that the license fee be fixed at 1200 (twelve hundred) dollars for the
ensuing year, roll was called and motion lost.
Moved and seconded that the license fee be fixed at 1000 dollars for the ensuing year and, on roll
being called, motion was carried.
Moved and seconded that the next regular meeting of the Council will be Jan. 29 at 7:30 o’clock.
On motion meeting adjourned.
