Present: H.C. Hastings, President; Henry Castle, J.S. Guerney, J.H. Romdeune; R.E. Dare, Village Recorder. The following bills were presented and ordered paid: Romdeune & Co., $.92 A.A. Opitz, $1.10 Hebner Davis & Co., $1.37 D.V. Pratt, $25.00 W.H. Houlton & Co., $8.86 Andrew Davis, $15.00 W.B. Eaton, $15.00 R.E. Dare, $35.00 Best St. Lamp Co., $15.55 The object of the meeting being to close the business for the year 1900, the Council resolved itself into a Board of Auditors and proceeded to compare orders paid by Treas. with stubs of order book and cancel same. The report of the Treasurer was presented, audited and found correct. The Board of Auditors estimated that the following sums were necessary for the ensuing year to meet the expenses of the Village: Current expenses including outstanding orders $3150.00 Poor 200.00 $3350.00 Outstanding orders and interest (estimate) $1250.00 Street lighting 300.00 Marshal 500.00 Street work 1000.00 Sundries 100.00 Poor 200.00 $3350.00 \[No note re: adjournment or with name of Recorder\]
