VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 3, 1901
Village Council met at 2 P.M.
Present: H.C. Hastings, President; Henry Castle, J.S. Guerney, J.H. Romdeune; R.E. Dare,
Village Recorder.
The following bills were presented and ordered paid:

The object of the meeting being to close the business for the year 1900, the Council resolved itself
into a Board of Auditors and proceeded to compare orders paid by Treas. with stubs of order book
and cancel same.
The report of the Treasurer was presented, audited and found correct.
The Board of Auditors estimated that the following sums were necessary for the ensuing year to
meet the expenses of the Village:
Current expenses including outstanding orders $3150.00
Poor 200.00

Street lighting 300.00
