VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 29, 1901
Meeting called to order at 8 o’clock.
Present: A.N. Dare, President; H.E. Castle, J.S. Guerney, C.S. Wheaton, Trustees; J.H.
Romdeune, Recorder.
The following bills were allowed:
Chas. Wheaton, ferry contract, $2.00
A.N. Dare, printing, $7.60
J.H. Romdeune, glass for street lamps, $.75
On motion the application of V.B. Rubeck for liquor license was accepted and allowed.
On motion the bond of V.B. Rubeck signed by C.F. Stimson, A.H. Nickerson and A.B. DeLaittre
was accepted and approved.
On motion the application of Moses Mack for license to sell intoxicating liquors in the Village of
Elk River was rejected.
On motion Mr. Dare, Mr. Guerney and Mr. Wheaton were appointed as bridge committee.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
