VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 13, 1902
Meeting called to order at 4 P.M.

Bill of A.N. Dare allowed at $2.00.
Bill of C.J. Scoboria allowed at $15.00.
Amount of Scoboria bill reduced $3.00 on account of one item belonging to town.
Moved and seconded that the ordinance allowing Chas M. Babcock and W.P. Rhoda a franchise to
operate a telephone service in the Village be passed. Upon calling roll, the motion for ordinance was
adopted, all members present voting “aye.”
On motion the ordinance allowing C.R. Sargent a franchise for a telephone service in the Village was
rejected.
