VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
April 14, 1902
Council met in Recorder’s Office. Meeting called to order at 8:30.
Present: C.J. Scoboria, Pres.; A.A. Opitz, Trustee; H.B. Nickerson, Village Recorder.
The following bills allowed and orders drawn:
L. Pollard, street work, $12.65
W.B. Eaton, March street lamp lighting and sundries, $18.25
The Best Street Light Co., four street lamps, $30.50
B.N. Thompson, sidewalk lumber and lampposts, $26.03
A.A. Opitz, freight on gasoline, $1.89
On motion it was decided to notify the Village Improvement Association that the Common Council
of the Village of Elk River would subscribe the amount of fifty dollars to go toward improving the
village park.
No further business, on motion adjourned.
