December 26, 1903: N.D. Trumbull and E.W. Johnson appointed Judges of the coming Village
Election, both being qualified voters of said Village.
VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 6, 1904
Meeting in Recorder’s office. Meeting called to order at 8:15.
Present: C.Q. Scoborio, Pres.; A.A. Opitz, Trustee; H.B. Nickerson, Village Recorder.
The Council formed itself into a board of audit and, together with Mr. Davis, Village Treasurer,
audited and checked upon the Treasurer’s report and, finding everything OK, on motion accepted it.
The following bills \[were\] allowed
Geo. Goodwin, testing fire engine, $1.50
Ole Sundby, blacksmithing, $2.45
A. Davis, Treas. salary, $15.00
G.J. Slattery, freight, $1.25
E.L. Ward, arrest and care of tramps, $10.25
No further business, stand adjourned.
