VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 14, 1904
Village Council met at Romdeune’s Drug Store July 14, 1904.
Present: A.H. Nickerson, Pres.; J. DeBooy, H.B. Nickerson and J.H. Romdeune, Trustees;
W.F. Chadbourne, Village Recorder.
Meeting called to order by President.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
Justus DeBooy, freight paid, $.50
Gilman Rollins Co., pipe, $1.07
G.H. Mendenhall, caring for hose, etc., $1.75
W.B. Eaton, lighting lamps and repairs, $16.50
E.L. Ward, police duty July 4, 1904, etc., $9.90
L.G. Davis, Judge of Special Election July 12, $2.00
N.D. Trumbull, Judge of Special Election July 12, $2.00
Waterous Engine Co., \[illegible\] for engine, $5.00
J.W. Featherstone, printing, $14.20
J.H. Romdeune, glass for st. lamp, $2.30
The following were appointed Board of Health:
C.Q. Scoborio, 3 years
L. Pollard, 2 years
W.F. Chadbourne, 1 year
The Recorder was instructed to purchase 1 doz. burners for street lamps.
