VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 14, 1905
At a special meeting of the Village Common Council, the following-named members were present:
Present: A.H. Nickerson, Pres.; Justus de Booy and H.B. Nickerson, Trustees.*
Also members of Business Men’s Association of the Village of Elk River were present.
The matter of the bridge across the Mississippi River between the Village of Elk River and Otsego
was discussed, and the following resolution was passed at this meeting:
Resolved that A.H. Nickerson, President, be and is hereby appointed a committee to advertise for
plans and specifications for the proposed bridge across the Mississippi River between the Village of
Elk River and Otsego with authority to procure such assistance as he may deem necessary.
This resolution was unanimously carried by the Common Council and Business Men’s Association
of the said Village of Elk River.
