VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 10, 1905*
At a meeting of the Common Council of the Village of Elk River, held at Romdeune’s Drug Store,
the Recorder was instructed by the said Council to communicate with the following gentlemen by
letter and invite them to meet with said Council at the office of Dr. N.K. Whittemore in said Village

on Monday, Feb. 15, 1905, at 2 o’clock P.M., to advise together with references to advertising for
plans and specifications and bids for the proposed bridge across the Mississippi River between the
said Village of Elk River and Otsego.

The Recorder in compliance with the above instructions notified the Hon. David Henning,
Chairman, A. Pleasance & Eilson Washburne, comprising the Town Board of Supervisors of the
town of Otsego, and Hon. W.H. Marvin of Monticello, Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners of Wright County, Minn., and Committeeman of Wright County, in the matter of
the said proposed bridge.
