Background/Discussion
(From Parking Lot): Pressure washing of the exterior of the building has been completed - algae and
moss were removed. There is some rust staining on the building caused from irrigation water that could
not be removed.
(From Parking Lot): Tree and stump removal has been completed along the eastern edge of the library as
well as near the book drop area. Additionally,rock has been added around the down spouts on the east
and north sides of the library where erosion issues had been a concern in the past.
Prescribed fire management was completed on May 3 in the rain garden areas around the library as well as
the prairie area near the windmill. The prescribed fires will help to suppress non-native cool season
grasses while promoting the native species.
(From Parking Lot): Concrete curb and gutter will be installed in XXX 2017 within the parking lot area as
well as removal of the current curb stops. Curbing will be added around the rain garden in the center of
the parking lot and along the sidewalk on the north edge of the parking lot.
