VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 6, 1906
At a meeting of the Common Council of the Village of Elk River held at Romdeune’s Drug Store,
the following were present, viz.:
Present: A.H. Nickerson, Pres.; Justus deBooy, H.B. Nickerson and J.H. Romdeune, Trustees;
H.C. Hastings, Village Recorder.
This meeting was called for the purpose of the Council, as Board of Auditors, to examine the
records for the current year. The Treasurer having presented his report, the board compared the
same with order book and Recorder’s report, cancelling orders at the same time. Everything was
found OK and the reports duly approved and filed.
The following bills were presented and allowed:
Davis Bros., sundries as per bill, $5.36
John McBride, work on fire engine, $1.00
H.C. Hastings, salary as Recorder, $35.00
Elk River Lumber Co., for brick, $.75
There being no further business, the board adjourned \[illegible\].
