A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF
1997 FEDERAL ISTEA GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS,
the city of Elk River pledges fifty percent (50%) of the
proposed ISTEA project for the proposed outdoor recreation
grant program; and,
WHEREAS, the total cost of the project is $98,000; and,
WHEREAS,
the City of Elk River will be the sponsoring unit of
government for said project; and,
WHEREAS,
the City commits the Street and Park Superintendent as
project manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city pledges a spirit of
cooperation to the proposed ISTEA Project in the amount of $50,000.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 24tl~ day
of March, 1997.
