SUBJECT: Con-Expo Seminar
I would like to express my appreciation to the City Council for providing me the
opportunity to attend the Con-Expo Equipment Show and educational seminars in Las
Vegas on March 25th and 26th.

I attended seminars on equipment maintenance, latest trends in oil technology, managing
fleet and equipment costs and recycling asphalt pavement on the job site. They were all
excellent educational opportunities that will, in turn help me keep up with rapidly
advancing technology.
The equipment show was in a word "awesome"! The show contained more equipment,
support supplies and new innovations than a person could look at in just 2 days. Over
1700 vendors participated and I had heard that to walk in front of each booth or display
would total 55 miles. A total of29 semi-trailer loads were required to move in the largest
display.
I am already implementing some of the maintenance information and plan to make use of
much more. Thank you again for allowing me to attend this informative exposition.
