PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 14, 1911
Present: W.A. Frye, Chairman; Sam Glidden and Gust Sund, Supervisors; F.W. Nickerson,
Town Clerk.
On motion Mr. Fred Sachs was elected Moderator.
On motion the report of the Town Treasurer was read and approved.
On motion the sum of twelve hundred dollars ($1200.00) was voted to be raised for the Road &
Bridge Fund.
On motion the sum of $250.00 was voted to be raised for the Town Revenue Fund.
On motion the Orono Cemetery was voted to be turned over to an association known as the Orono
Cemetery Association, one block of lots to be turned over to the Town of Elk River.
Ballots being counted:
W.A. Frye receiving 30 votes for Supervisor for 3 yrs. was declared elected.
F.W. Nickerson receiving 30 votes for Town Clerk was declared elected.
A.W. Tourtillotte receiving 30 votes for Treasurer was declared elected.
F.M. Sandusky receiving 30 votes for Assessor was declared elected.
Gust Moritz receiving 30 votes for Constable was declared elected.
W. Specht receiving 30 votes for Justice of Peace was declared elected.
On motion the board adjourned.
