Action Requested
Approve, by motion, a Temporary Sales/Storage of Fireworks License to TNT Fireworks to sell
fireworks June 23, 2017, through July 5, 2017, from a tent in the parking lot of Elk Park Center, 19112 –
19216 Freeport Street with the condition inspection of the outside sales area will take place prior to
opening to the public. Applicant is responsible for contacting the fire marshal at 763.635.1110 to schedule
an inspection after the tent has been set up.
Background/Discussion
TNT Fireworks requests a Temporary Sales/Storage of Fireworks License to sell fireworks from a tent in
the parking lot of Elk Park Center, 19112 – 19216 Freeport Street NW. The Fire Department has
reviewed and approved the site plan and application.
A General Planning Permit is also required in order to conduct sales from a tent. The Site Plan Review
Committee has reviewed and approved the applicant’s request for a General Planning Permit.
