ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
January 18, 1918
Town Board of Elk River met at Bank of Elk River in Village of Elk River for the purpose of
looking after Sellon Road petition and to establish places where official notices are to be posted.

Board met with full attendance and decided to meet at A.R. Sellon’s on February 1 to act on said
petition.
Motion was made that we designate the three following places in Town of Elk River for the purpose
of posting official notices. Motion carried.
1. At junction of Meadowvale and Hartfelder roads south of railroad tracks, SE ¼ of SE ¼ of
Section 29.
2. Junction of Burns & Elk River Roads, N ½ of SW ¼ of Section 35.
3. 5 rods north of the north line of the Village limits of the Village of Elk River, Sherburne Co.,
Minn., on the Princeton & Elk River road, known also as State Road No. 2, SE ¼ of SW ¼ of
Section 27.
Billboards to be erected at these three places.
