Town Board of Elk River met at Bank of Elk River.

Officers that were elected signed oaths of office and fixed up other qualifacations \[sic\].
Meeting was called to order by Clerk.
Motion, “That J.E. Bloomdahl act a \[sic\] Chairman for coming year.* Motion carried.
Motion, “To have meetings of board held first Saturday in month.* Carried.
Motion, “That Board purchase 2 new wheel scrapers.* Carried.
On motion the following bills were allowed:
Chas. Schwanbeck 2 days on board $4.00
F.H. Putnam 2 days on board \[and\] 4.75
