PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 12, 1918
Board met for Annual Town Meeting at 9 o’clock in forenoon at the courthouse in Village of Elk
River.
Fred Sacks acted as Moderator. \[Judges are not listed.\]
At the meeting it was decided, “that the Assessor be paid by the job, receiving $100 for his work.* A
motion being made and seconded to that effect, it was voted on by attendance \[sic\] at meeting.
Motion was carried.
Officers elected were:
Chas. Hinz Supervisor for 3 yrs.
E.W. Bernard Assessor
E.G. Palmer Treasurer
F.H. Putnam Clerk
Fayette H. Putnam
Town Clerk
