DISCUSSION:
• Had six new house services.
• Continue working on collecting data with the GPS for our ArcView maps as time
permits.
• Continue rebuilding 165th Ave; this is in Area 2 that we acquired from Connexus.
• Started construction on Waco 2 substation. Granite City Construction will be the
contractor doing the work.
• Finished rebuilding Presidential Estates.
• Michels Corporations installed the wire and transformer box pads along with gas, cable
and telephone to seventeen lots at Wildflower Villas in Otsego. We set the transformers,
street lights and will also be doing the terminating of wire.
• We have the new primary underground installed along Highway 10 east of the bridge.
We still need to move a switchgear cabinet and some poles and anchors along bridge
going to the west.
• Installed a new three phase service for Apex Embroidery on Gateway Road.
• Installed a new three phase service for Chow Fresh Grill and Barbeque on Business
Center Drive.
• Directional bored in some conduits for the parks department at YAC and Oak Knoll for
score boards.
• Working on installing five new services for CenturyLink.
• Installed a new single phase primary and transformer service for BNSF.
• Replaced two overhead taps with underground towards the west end of our service
territory on County Road 39 in Otsego.
• I attended the APPA Engineering and Operations Technical Conference. Some of the
breakout sessions I attended where: The A-Z of Improving Reliability; Pole Attachments:
One Touch Transfers; Safety Tracking Made Easier; Substation 101: Design and
Commissioning Issues; Integrated Data Management: Top 10 Strategies; and EV's:
Charging Toward a New Future. It was a very good conference.
