ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
April 20, 1921
Town Board of the Township of Elk River, County of Sherburne and State of Minnesota, met at the
home of J.M. Holzern to look over route of proposed cartway. All members present.

J.C. Aurwater and H. Clark each asked for ($75.00) seventy-five dollars damages, and J.C. Schilki
asked for ($150.00) one hundred and fifty dollars damages. After viewing the proposed route, it was
th
decided to postpone the hearing until the regular May meeting, to be held in Elk River on May 7 at
10:00 a.m.
In the afternoon, Board went out to Aug. Pierrie’s and viewed a road that was laid out before but
has never been opened, on the east line of Pierrie’s home farm. Also inspected a bridge over Judicial
ditch at Fred Biddick’s.
On motion Board adjourned.
