SUBJECT: Consider Application for Exempt
Permit for River City Snow Riders
The River City Snow Riders have made application for an exemption from
lawful gambling Permit. The River City Snow Riders are requesting to hold
a raffle on October 23, 1999, at the Sherburne County Fair Grounds.
The River City Snow Riders have requested that the City Council wave the
30 day waiting period that is required by the Minnesota Gambling Control
Board. Waiving the 30 day period allows the Board to issue the permit before
the 30 days, which is allowed for council action.

Council motion to approve the application for exempt permit to allow the The
River City Snow Riders to hold a raffle on October 23rd and to waive the 30
day waiting period.
