PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 14, 1922
Annual Town Meeting of the Town of Elk River held at the Sherburne Co. Courthouse.
The meeting was called to order by the Town Clerk. Fred Sacks was nominated and elected
Moderator.
The Treasurer’s report and the report of the Board of Audit were read and approved.
It was voted that the town should levy $2,000.00 for road and bridge purposes and $500.00 as
revenue for the coming year. Also that the Assessor received a lump sum of $125.00 for assessing
the town for the year 1922.
The following officers were elected by ballot for their respective offices as follows:
Supervisor 3 years David Anderson
Clerk 1 year R.R. Simpson
Treasurer 1 year E.G. Palmer
Assessor 1 year W.R. Jones
