SUBJECT: Donation to Elk River Police Department
The Elk River Police Department recendy received a donation in the amount of $250.00 from
Caring Rivers United Way to be used for National Night Out.
Attached is a resolution acknowledging the Caring Rivers United Way contribution to the Elk River
Police Department.
Action Requested
It is requested that Mayor and Council adopt the attached resolution acknowledging the monetary
contribution from Caring Rivers United Way pursuant to Minnesota State Statute 465.03.

RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE
CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations,
and individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $250.00 donation from Caring
Rivers United Way with the intent it be used by the Elk River Police
Department for National Night Out; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Elk River to acknowledge the support and commend Caring Rivers United
Way for their donation.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 7th day of
March 2005.
