Re: Sex Offender Notification Meeting
Dear Mr. Klaers:

Our department has received information that a level three sex offender is moving into the
community on August 4, 1999. Accordingly, our department will be conducting a community
notification meeting on July 27, 1999 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held in the family life
center at Central Lutheran Church, 1103 School St., Elk River.
The purpose of the meeting is to give the public information concerning the offender and to
educate them about general personal safety. There will be' a discussion period following a
presentation by Department of Corrections officials and the offender's release supervisor.
As, by YOl.,!r position, you are an integral part of the community; we are notifying you of this
meeting and encouraging your attendance. Should you have any questions, please feel free to
