Background/Discussion
Gary Sander from Rivers Crossing Townhomes of Auburn Place requested at the Commission meeting
open forum for staff and the Commssion to look at a solution for parking at Barrington Park. Some
people using the park are paking at the units private parking locations. He feels this might become more
of an issue with the new playground.
Staff has reviewed the possibility of adding parking stalls to support Barrington Park and has found it
feasible to install 4-5 parking stalls along Auburn Place NW. Engineering staff estimate the cost to to
install this small parking area to be approximately$10,000. Funds for paving this parking area are
available in the Park Improvement Fund through savings in the 2017 trail construction projects.

• $10,000 from the Park Improvement Fund
