DISCUSSION:
• Had eight new house services.
• Continue working on collecting data with the GPS for our ArcView maps as time
permits.
• Continue construction on Waco 2 substation. The conduits for the six feeders and the
conduits for the control wires have been installed. The ground grid is installed and most
of the steel structures are up. The fence is also been put up. We are also pulling primary
wire into substation when completed there will be three new feeders. Attached are
pictures of the progress.
• Finished working along Highway 10 from Gary Street to Xenia Avenue. We will be
pulling conduits through a water main once it's abandoned next year.
• Installed three phase primary wire and a transformer for PetSmart.
• Replaced switchgear that was damaged over the winter at 18894 Dodge Street.
• Wildflower Meadows 6th Addition in Otsego is complete; it consists of 24 residential lots.
Michels Pipeline did the joint trench and we installed the transformers and did the
terminating of wire.
• Michels Pipeline started installing utilities in Miski Meadows. This part of the project
consists of 86 residential lots.
• Began working on getting the infrastructure placed for the acquisition of Areas 3&4 in
September.
• Began placing wire heading north of the Waco substation in anticipation of Areas 5&6
that will be acquired in 2018. Areas 5&6 will be more work because Connexus is keeping
their feeder in these areas.
• Detroit Lakes requested mutual aid after a storm went through their city. We sent four of
our lineworkers to help them out July 12 -14.
