PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 8, 1927
Annual meeting of Town of Elk River was held at Courthouse.
Meeting called to order by the Clerk. Fred Sachs was chosen as Moderator.
Treasurer’s report was read and accepted as read.
Motion made to raise $250.00 for Revenue Fund. Motion carried.
Motion made to raise $1500.00 for Road and Bridge Fund. Motion carried.
Motion made to raise $800 for Ditch Tax. Motion carried.
Moved and carried to pay Assessor $100.00 for year 1927.
Business meeting was then closed and polls declared open.
Polls declared closed at 4 o’clock P.M. and ballots were counted. There were 15 ballots cast.
L.G. Lamm received 15 votes and was declared elected Supervisor for 3 yrs.
F.E. Sellon received 15 votes and was declared elected Clerk for 1 year.
Ernest G. Palmer received 15 votes and was declared elected Treas. for 1 year.
W.H. Meyers received 15 votes and was declared elected Assessor for 2 yrs.
Gene Dickey received 1 vote and was declared elected Justice of Peace for 2 yrs.
