ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
June 16, 1928
Board met in special session, at home of Gus Rahn, with the board of Burns township, also Fred
Sachs of the County Commissioners of Sherburne Co. and two county commissioners from Anoka
Co., and engineers from both counties, for the purpose of talking over the construction of the road
on the town line running north from Carl Kregers.

It was decided the engineers should make survey and have said road designated as state road, and
the construction of same to be made in 1929. Each township agreed to pay $750 each, Sherburne
and Anoka County to pay balance.
