PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 12, 1929
The annual meeting was called to order by the Clerk and Art Karkhoff was chosen Moderator.
After stating the business to come before the board, the business was taken up in the following
order.
Voted to raise $500.00 for Rev. Fund.
Voted to raise $2000.00 for Road & Bridge Fund.
Voted to raise $500.00 for Ditch Fund.
After which the polls were declared open. At four o’clock the Moderator declared the polls closed
and the following results were found. There were only 7 ballots cast and the results were as follows:
B.A. Gray recd 7 votes for Supervisor.
E.G. Palmer recd 7 votes for Treas.
W.H. Meyers recd 7 votes for Assessor.
