PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 10, 1931
Annual meeting of the Town of Elk River held at Court-house Mar. 10, 1931.
Meeting called to order by Clerk and on motion G.D. Robbins was chosen moderator, who stated
the business of the meeting, the treasurers report was read by the clerk which on motion was
accepted as read, it was then voted to raise the following sums:
For Road & Bridge Fund $1000.00
For Rev. fund none
For Poor fund none
For Ditch fund $800.00
On motion it was voted to pay the assessor $125.00 for the year 1931 and $150.00 for the year 1932.
No other business motion was made to adjourn, which was carried after which the Moderator
declared the polls open and balloting for town officers, also County Agent and Public Health Nurse
was begun.
The following officers were declared elected.
Supervisor 3 yrs. Oscar Engstrom
Treasurer 2 yrs. E.G. Palmer
Assessor 2 yrs. W.H. Meyers
