Sellon, Clerk ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING November 4, 1933 Board of Town of Elk River met in regular session at Court-house with Oscar Engstrom & Louis J. Specht present. Present: \[not listed\] The resignation of B.A. Gray was taken off the table and accepted. Jake Holzem was then appointed to fill vacancy and clerk ordered to notify him to appear Nov. 10, 1933 to qualify. Mr. Groff appeared before board and applied for aid. After considering the board decided it would be better and cheaper to send him and his wife out to their daughters in S. Dak. Which was satisfactory to Mr. Groff and it was so ordered. Louis J. Specht was appointed to make arrangements for his leaving. No other business. The following bills were allowed. Road & Bridge Fund No. 21 Sherburne Co. $116.63 No. 22 E.R. Con.
