ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
September 17, 1934
Board of Town of Elk River met in special session near the home of E.W. Dickey for the purpose
of viewing site for Cartway as asked for in petition of Nora Frye & others.

After viewing said proposed site and finding as to the amount of damages, it was on vote decided to
grant said proposed Cartway as asked for, with damages as follows.
Gust Nord $10.00 fence expense and
$25.00 for land.
Mrs. Estelle Whittemore $10.00 fence expense and
$75.00 for land and damage to building site.
One half of damages to be paid by petitioner and one half by Town of Elk River. Town of Elk River
to construct road and put in cattle pass connecting land of E.W. Dickey and Mrs. Estelle
Whittemore. E.W. Dickey waived all damages providing said cattle pass was constructed.
Sat. Sept. 22, 1934 was set for final hearing and settlement.
