PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
TOWN OF ELK RIVER
March 12, 1935
The Annual Town meeting was held at Court-house March 12, 1935.
The meeting was called to order by Clerk and on motion B.A. Gray was Chosen moderator.
After stating the business to come before the meeting the levies were discussed and on motion
2 mills were levied for poor.
Rev. Fund $600.00
Ditch Fund $800.00
Road & Bridge Fund none
A resolution was voted unanimously we go on record as continuing our present form of Town
government.
No other business the meeting was closed and the polls declared open by the moderator.
At four oclock the moderator declared the polls closed and the votes were canvassed with results as
follows
Supervisor for 3 yrs. Albert Gamm 16 votes
Treasurer for 2 yrs. E.G. Palmer 16 votes
Assessor for 2 yrs. E.W. Bernard 16 votes
