Action Requested
Approve, by motion, a liquor license amendment allowing an 18’ x 36’ foot patio as part of the approved
premises for the American Legion 112 dba Davis-Darrow-Meyer Post.
Background/Discussion
The American Legion holds an On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License designating the restaurant and bar as
the approved premises for alcohol consumption. The Legion recently constructed an 18’ x 36’ patio
outside adjacent to the building and would like to include the patio in their approved liquor license
premises. The premises must be amended before alcohol is allowed on the patio.
Several other licensees in Elk River have patios included in their approved premises.
