SUBJECT: Exempt Gambling Permit for Church of St.
Andrew
The Church of St. Andrew has made application for an Exempt
Permit to the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The permit will
allow the church to hold a bingo event on October 17, 1999.

These types of permits give the municipality 30 days in which to
deny the license. If the license isn't denied within 30 days of
application, then the Gambling Control Board may issue the permit.
The Church is requesting to waive the thirty-day waiting period.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Council motion to approve the Exempt Permit for the Church of St.
Andrew and to waive the thirty- day waiting period.
