Members Present: President Tveite, Commissioners Blesener, Ovall, Provo (5:02 p.m.),
Olsen (5:26 p.m.), and Wagner
Members Absent: CommissionerWestgaard
Staff Present: Economic Development Director Amanda Othoudt, Economic
Development Specialist Colleen Eddy, and Executive Secretary/Deputy

Also Present: Campbell Knutson Attorney James Monge
1.Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic
Development Authority was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by President Tveite.
President Tveite stated the following:
”The EDA will be holding a closed meeting per MN Statute §13D.05, subdivision 3(b)
to meet under attorney-client priviledge regarding litigation with Ethanol Technology
of Minnesota, LLC.
Moved by Commissioner Wagner and seconded by Commissioner Blesener to
call a closed meeting to discuss attorney-client privilege for litigation with
Ethanol Technology of Minnesota, LLC. Motion carried 5-0.
2.Closed Meeting
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss litigation strategies with Attorney Monge
regarding Ethanol Technology of Minnesota, LLC.
3.Adjournment
There being no further business, President Tveite adjourned the closed meeting of the
Elk River Economic Development Authority at 5:29 p.m.
